It's what it's says it is. If I could, I'd buy a bag of 10 of the smaller piece, the cable scraper, since it is thinner and sees more action than the larger boot. I recommend this seller I had the original ones on my brakes crack, so I bought these. I've been using Avid's mechanical discs since day one, and I still have my original circa Avid BBDB calipers, corroded pad retention magnets an all before they were renamed BB7. If the ferrule isn't crimped on I don't crimp mine , it often comes detached from the housing and stays lodged in the boot. The only thing that looked odd was this product photo. It's normally no problem to poke this out and re-install it on the housing Perfect replacements. This is the housing end ferrule, and isn't supplied with the brake. It came in perfect condition, a few days later than expected, but it was because they didn't have it in stock, and for this problem the communication was totally correct. There's no metal part inside - nor you'll ever need it. These replace the boots on BB7 brake calipers.
